Hybrid working trends in 2025 — why DSE must stay on the agenda

Hybrid working continues to rise. According to the Office for National Statistics, more than a quarter of UK working adults followed a hybrid work pattern between January and March 2025. While commuting has declined, working from home has steadily increased, embedding flexibility into the way we work.

Downtime schedule:

  • UK database users - Wed 3 Sept, 18:00 – 22:00 BST, 10:00 – 14:00 PST, 12:00 – 16:00 CST and 13:00 – 17:00 EST.
  • US database users - Thu 4 Sept, 09:00–13:00 BST, 01:00–05:00 PST, 03:00–07:00 CST and 04:00–08:00 EST.

HMRC splits mileage reimbursement rate for electric vehicles
